Chris and Julia Godfrey have been smoking meat for almost 20 years. They have perfected the art of smoking meat. Seriously. EG’s BBQ is undoubtedly the best BBQ spot in this area, and I must say I was absolutely blown away.
The menu is small, but focused. They know what they are good at, and they stick with quality. Ribs, pulled pork, & chicken.
I have tried everything on the menu and NOTHING was a disappoint. The meat was tender, juicy, and bursting with flavor, with a perfectly seasoned crust on the outside. The sides were also noteworthy, with warm potato salad. YUM.
What really set this BBQ spot apart, however, was the attention to detail and passion for the craft. The pit master clearly take pride in his work, and it shows in the quality of the food. The meat was cooked to perfection and the flavors were perfectly balanced.
This is authentic, wood-smoked BBQ at its finest!
